Outlook Ice Hawks Weekend Recap Nov.10 by Teana Crossman
Nov 10. It all started with a strong off ice warm up, everyone was working hard to get their off game going. The on-icewarmup showed lots of promise, the passes were tape to tape, feet were moving quick and the goalie was dialed in. The Ice Hawks carried the adrenaline into the first period by having lots of chances but couldn’t take one to the back of the net. No momentum was lost going into the second where the forwards crashed the net and were able to hit in a couple rebounds. It was 2-0 at the end of the second and we knew we had to keep going If we wanted to win. It was a slower start to the third period with a couple penalties. Despite the penalties we were able to keep strong and get 2 more goals leading us to a 4-1 win.
