REGINA, Sask. – The Saskatchewan Junior Female Hockey League (SJFHL) is proud to announce that Bourgault Industries Ltd. has signed on to be the title sponsor ahead of the inaugural 2023-24 season.
The newly minted Bourgault Saskatchewan Junior Female Hockey League will begin on October 7, 2023, in Gull Lake as the Southwest Impact hosts Lumsden Lynx.
“We are excited to have Bourgault Industries Ltd. become our league title sponsor. Bourgault’s support goes a long way to help stabilize this new league,” said SJFHL President Blaine Stork. “This level of hockey for females is long overdue and we are grateful for Hockey Saskatchewan leading this process and the six founding communities that wanted to make a difference for female athletes. We encourage one and all to come out this winter and enjoy some junior female hockey!”
As the latest corporate partner of the newly established Under-22 (U22) league, Bourgault Industries Ltd. has entered into a title sponsorship agreement spanning two years, with the possibility of extending it for a third year. The partnership will culminate with the Championship Weekend, set to be hosted in Outlook from March 9-10, 2024, where one fortunate team will proudly hoist the league's newly christened trophy, the Bourgault Cup.
