It was a great weekend of SJFHL hockey!
The weekend kicked off on Friday Night with the Prairie Blaze and Ice Hawks meeting up at the Martensville Rec Centre! Through an exciting 60 minutes of play, both teams headed into Overtime! Ice Hawks #21, Haley Braun scored the game-winning goal, delivering the Prairie Blaze just their 3rd loss of the SJFHL season.

The final game of the weekend had the Lynx travelling up Hwy 11 to hit the ice against the Prairie Blaze. Looking to build on the momentum of their two-game winning streak, the Lynx played hard, but ultimately the Prairie Blaze overpowered them over 60 minutes.
