Christmas Break Feature - Taylor Toyota Lynx Ryann Buckner

In today's "SJFHLers to watch" we feature rookie forward Ryann Buckner from the Taylor Toyota Lynx.

Buckner is one of the leading rookie scorers this season with 9 points after 11 games placing her in the top 10 point getters in 25-26.

Ryann has noticeable hockey acumen, no one will soon forget #24's 4 point October 26 on home ice where she scored 1 goal and had 3 assists for a 4 point night.  Her goal was scored shorthanded a feat that occurs when you are in the right place at the right time.

We asked each of our feature players the same questions.  Join me as we read what Ryann has to say:

"I was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan.

My parents inspired me the most to play hockey. They put me in it when I was 4 and they also grew up playing hockey.

My favourite thing about playing in the SJFHL would be the opportunity to keep playing the sport I love with good competition.

My greatest contribution to my team would be how I can read the play before it happens while also staying calm when the puck is on my stick and always being positive and encouraging my teammates.

Outside of hockey I help coach high school junior girls basketball as well as I officiate with Hockey Sask."

Looks like we will be watching this SJFHLer take to the ice and put on a show a few times this next four seasons!
