In this "SJFHLers to watch" we feature rookie forward Faith Donovan from the Western Prairie Klippers. While the 25-26 season is Faith's first season in the SJFHL, she, like many, enter the league with only 2 years of eligibility left.

Faith's warm personality and incredible smile liftsher team up and keep spirits high, both on the ice and in the dressing room. Faith is hockey fan, through and through, and she is an incredible cheerleader, supporting the whole Klipper organization.
We ask every feature player the same questions, here is what Donovan had to say:"I was born in Nova Scotia but I live in Cold Lake, Alberta .
I have four older siblings and both my parents played hockey. I grew up in the hockey rink and wanted to be just like them which through the years I’ve grown to love the game just like them.
My favourite thing about playing hockey in the SJFHL is that I get to be a part of a team again and play the game that I love so much! I love building a sense of community and family with my teammates!
My individual contribution that I think leads us to success is my positive attitude and my friendship that I have with everyone. I am a team player and I love to encourage people to do their best but most of all have fun! Teamwork and having fun is extremely important to me!
Outside of hockey I am currently living in Saskatoon going to school to become a teacher. I am in my third year and I am taking a bachelor in education with a major in physical education and minor in French immersion. I would love to teach elementary years and later down the road further my studies in inclusive education which would be my dream job!
Can not wait to see where thos season and life takes Faith, she is a fun SJFHLer to watch!
